A body is found below the layers of an early fall snow in the west garden of historic Canyon House, Flagstaff, Arizona. Motive for the murder is as layered as the snow... Lois Woodrow and Ivy Wren have been best friends since public school and a simple visit by Lois to Ivy's B&B is abruptly complicated. Though, by their own admission not quite as smooth as Agatha Christies', Miss Marple, their clumsy sleuthing becomes a valuable catalyst...
